Monthly Archives: April 2016

Well, today was my first full day back online. I still have a few more posts to catch up on though. As many know I had been ill. Thank you all for hanging in there for me! I want to share something with you all. Yes, part of the time I was sick from shingles which was brought on by some major stress factors. It was 7 different trama’s or drama’s dare I say. These are family matters that are not mine to tell the world. They however affected me immensely! With that said I had a total mental breakdown. I suffered badly. I did not want to live at one point however suicide was not in my mind. It was much more than an episode of depression that keeps me in bed for a few weeks. It was hell in my mind that not a single soul could help me with. I had to choose to get up and live despite tragedy (not death) in my family and the fact I became homeless during all this too! No, I am not looking for sympathy or praise. Just wanted you all to know I had more going on than the common cold.
I paid for my new home yesterday. I move in May 8th. I’m very happy about that. My families issues are not much better but, I can’t fix it or help anymore than I already have. My issue with the ex I have great sorrow for him about and wish him only the best of luck in fighting his demon alone. I helped as much as I could and a leopard doesn’t change its spots. I am praying a lot these days. So, I am back. Hopefully I can move ahead in my personal growth journey. It feels like I am starting over again! And that is getting old!

Keeping my chin up and a smile on my face as well as a song in my heart….

I am playing catch up. This prompt was from 4/15/2016 if you would like to see other’s take on this one word prompt go here and check it out! Here is my take on the one word prompt snap:

Snap, crackle, pop! Rice Krispies cereal! Love it! Snapchat is a new social media tool. Snap on tools! “Oh snap” a thing the young folks say. Snap up your coat because it is cold. Snapping turtles. Snap your fingers. There is SNAP here in CA that is the food stamp program. Snapfish is a digital photo service.

Snap band!

Playing catch up today this is a prompt from 4/14/2016 you can visit here for more responses to this one word prompt of suitcase. Here is my take on the prompt:

It is funny because since September 2015 I have lived out of one. Thankfully, I now have my own place starting May 8th. So, a suitcase has been a very important part of my life for some time now. I like suitcases in general. They come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. I am now going to find some photo’s of suitcases I like or wish I had.

I normally do not watch anything I define as scary but I made an exception and was curious about this Netflix original Hemlock Grove. I adore Netflix and love the original programming they have done such as “Love,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” “Cuckoo,” and “Grace & Frankie.” So, I decided to try watching another Netflix original. I was not disappointed and it is freaky! If you like Vampires, Warewolves, Ghosts, and sience fiction you will like this. The basic plot of season 1 is who or what is killing these young women in the town of Hemlock Grove. I don’t want to give any details but it is not an ordinary murder mystery. A rich and evil mother has two children one of which is very deformed the other is just a coming of age rich boy. So, you think! The rich family of the town is the Greyson’s and they run it all. A poor gypsy traveler mom and her teenage son move in a run down trailer a dead kinfolk. The rich boy and poor gypsy boy join forces to solve the mystery of who is killing these young women. Now, there are so many twists and turns and you fall in love and hate with the cast members. There is a few love triangles. Some nudity, drugs, and not sutiable for children at all. Totally worth the watch. I am watch season 2 now! I give this a 4.7 on a scale of 1-5 just because everything has room for imporvement. TWO THUMBS UP!
